Is it a good idea to find a guru with experience and pay money to somehow convey the experience?

Programming is a craft. There used to be a "master and journeyman" system. And now there are a lot of crooked coders.
The plan is:

  1. read the 30 most recommended. books (2 out of 30 available)
  2. find a guru or a more knowledgeable coder in your field and pay for the master class, then find the next guru and go through 10-15 people in this way.

I think experience will grow exponentially. There is no time to make all the mistakes yourself..

I want to learn BOXING!
The plan is:
1. Read the 30 most popular boxing books.
2. Find a world boxing champion to give a master class. Then former champions and so 10-15 people.
I think experience will grow exponentially. I don't have time to fight myself..

Have you ever thought about paid clinics that deliberately invent diseases for you?
