I have a macbook air 13 with a resolution of 1440. If I connect it to a FullHD monitor, what will I get as an output?

External display options with Mac:
Mac supports three external display modes:
1. Monitor mirroring
2. Extended desktop
3. MacBook with lid closed
All settings can be changed in the Displays tab of System Preferences.
In step 1, the maximum resolution of the Macbook desktop will be set!
