How to fix terminal freeze?

Good day to all!
There was such a problem, the native terminal stopped starting at all, it just twitches in the dock and then hangs.
I downloaded iterm2, it started up once and hung while writing the command, it doesn’t start anymore =(
What could be the matter? Was it like that for someone?
