How to work with raid 10 from 4xHDD on intel rapid storage technology?
Hello. There is a RAID 10 of 4xHDD on intel rapid storage technology (ASUS motherboard).
Left as a legacy so to speak from the previous administrator.
Actually questions:
1. As there is a replacement of a disk in case of malfunction. Suppose in a raid10 array of 4x hdd disk "1" is no longer readable, we pull it out, put a new one, and what's next?
2. What to do if it is not possible to replace a faulty disk with an identical one (company, model, firmware, etc.), except for the size.
3. How does the system work in case of failure of one of the disks in the raid10 array of 4x hdd.
Maybe there is some kind of manual or video on the Internet. Thanks
