Overheating of the video card Geforce gts250 Asus 1GB?

Hello. I've been struggling with my video card for a year now. During normal work on a computer, in Photoshop or other programs, there are no problems, but if you turn on some full-screen game or movie, the PC periodically freezes. The picture freezes and the sound loops. This does not always happen, but once a day systematically. I downloaded the GPU-Z program and this is what it showed me at the last hang:

GPU Core Clock [MHz] , GPU Memory Clock [MHz] , GPU Shader Clock [MHz] , GPU Temperature [°C] , Fan Speed (%) [%] , Memory Used [MB] , GPU Load [%] , Memory Controller Load [%] , Video Engine Load [%] , Bus Interface Load [%] , PerfCap Reason [] , VDDC [V] ,

740.0 , 1000.0 , 1836.0,255.0, 100 , 353 , 38 , 17 , 0 , 0 , 0 , 1.3000 ,

255 degrees at the time of freezing and the cooler worked at 100%, although a second earlier according to the log: the temperature is 59 degrees and the cooler works at 52%. This with a video card from the moment of purchase in the store, I wore it to them under warranty for verification, they checked it and said that everything was in order with it. What could be the problem or is it better to replace the video card immediately?
PS I changed the thermal paste, immediately after turning it on it also started to freeze)
