How to transfer iron into a compact case?
Good day everyone.
I have a PC (yes yes) and it lives in a normal case. I'm not well versed in hardware, the ATX case is most likely the most common one. In connection with the relocations, I decided to repack my pieces of iron into more compact vestments so that it could be easier to transport, put in a suitcase, for example. However, there are 2 problems:
1. I understand this issue very poorly, and therefore I turn to you for advice.
2. I have very little time (2-3 weeks)
As I understand it, my mother will not 100% fit into a mini-case, which means buying a new one is without options. I would like a power supply unit of 500 watts, so that the battle 3 pulls. Well, put all my other spare parts in there. Here are my specifications:
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4430 CPU @ 4 x 3.00GHz, 2993 MHz
Video adapter: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 (1024 MB)
SSD: OCZ-VERTEX3 (55 GB)
HDD 1: WDC WD5000AZRX-00A8LB0 (465 GB)
HDD 2: SAMSUNG HD252HJ (232 GB)
Drive: HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GH22NS30 ATA Device
RAM 4gb, but this is hardly important.
I would like to drag the video, at least ssd + hdd1, drive, RAM and percent. Mother of horses will have to buy.
Is it real? What form factor to pay attention to, is it possible to order such a service somewhere from specialists?
PS do not advise buying a laptop - I will only exchange my 23 '' monitor for a macbook pro 15, and now I need these expenses the least.

Maybe it's easier to buy some kind of NUC thread? For example, Intel NUC D54250WYK .

How often do you move, and are you ready to sacrifice the stability of your computer for them?
Do not forget that in a small case it is much more difficult to dissipate heat. You work with your computer more often than you move. Do you really have such a large body that just for the sake of moving you want to reduce it?
You need to look towards mini-ITX.
I recently assembled the following system for myself:
Case node 304
Mother ASUS Z97I-PLUS
Some kind of nvidia 650ti boost, 16 GB of memory, i5-4690, a couple of ssd, one laptop screw, Noctua NH-U14S cooler , CS750M PSU .
It turned out to be quite a good machine. But you need to understand:
- the drive is a sink, because it is not needed, and a significant part of the cases does not provide for it. If you really need it, you will have to take a slim drive and a case for it, for example, SilverStone SG06S
- you can put at least 3 * 3.5 HDD into this case, but I threw out two brackets and left one, screwing three 2.5" to it, so cooling is better
- due to the limited internal space, not every combination of a card graph (in length) and a power supply unit will be compatible
- without the experience of assembling at least a pair of PCs, it will not be easy to assemble it, because there is very little space, especially after installing the cooler
All of the above, to one degree or another, refers to any assembly in that form factor. It is possible and more compact, but graphics and storage will suffer.
To be honest, there is no way out. Take at least for comparison the size of the mini atx form factor and a video card, or hdd. In theory, you can put it all in a makeshift case, but the costs for it will be large, perhaps.
1. This is of course IMHO, but the MacBook sucks :) Just an opinion supported by facts. But this is my experience. I will not describe conjectures, so as not to breed holivar. But for games, I definitely do not recommend it to you.
2. You have a strange video card and the amount of RAM for such a processor. You have 40-60 percent of the power of the pebble there just idle.
3. Write the motherboard model. If it is mATX, then you can take a smaller case. If the HDD does not fit, you can connect them via eSATA. This port, in my opinion, even calculators now have.
The vidyakha is most likely full-sized, so the case cannot be changed to a small one.
