Why doesn't the PC turn on?

Hello. After another hit on the clave, the PC suddenly froze. I rebooted it, and as a result, the PC starts up, but there are no signs of life, no beeps on the screen. Suspicions fall on the hard drive, I have a lot of problems with it. I understand the situation is absurd, but help, give me an idea how to bring the car back to life? The only moment is after the n-th number of reboots and a couple of light slaps on the back of the head, the PC has advanced to the middle of the PC boot, i.e. a couple of inscriptions slipped, and then stagnation. Thanks for understanding

Does the PC start loading the operating system at all? If not, and it hangs on the BIOS, look at the errors that it gives out and build on them. If you can enter the BIOS at all, check the boot sequence and see if your hard drive is even there. Perhaps he suddenly got into second or third place in the download queue (it happened when he forgot to pull out a USB flash drive or a non-boot CD-ROM). If a screw is identified and is first in line, check it. To do this, either shoot and stick into another PC, or boot from liv-cd \ liv-usb and check the hard and memory utilities. Without utilities and liv-cd, you can still pull out the memory sticks one by one and swap the slots into which you insert them.
This is if the OS does not boot at all. If it comes to booting the system (wangyu: this is Windows), then choose Last Known Good Boot or even Safe Mode.

Check for hard drive in bios. Boot from a flash drive and check smart hard + reading test, or throw it on another computer. If it hangs and does not allow anything to be done, then pull out the hard drive and check if it hangs without it. Doesn't hang? The problem is in the hard drive.

Maybe your suspicions about the hard drive are justified.
Or maybe a keyboard.
And in general - you need to read the inscriptions. And beating the computer is a bad idea. He cannot fight back, only die.

If the problem fell out while typing on the keyboard, first turn off the keyboard (maybe some key is stuck). Well, more information is needed, at least a photograph of what is happening on the monitor ... from this it will already be possible to dance.
