How to terminate a program in osx via the (x) button in the top left corner?
When you try to close the program through the button in the upper left corner of the window (x), the program usually does not close and remains hanging in memory (aka in the dock). Nice feature, but not for all applications. For example, when closing Sublime text editors in this way, or Atom, the previous session is not saved, open documents and directories are reset, which does not happen with a forced exit. It's very annoying when, out of habit, you poke a cross, and then you have to rediscover everything. Is there a way to completely terminate programs via the (x) button?

Get out of the habit of clicking the mouse, learn hotkeys. It takes a lot of time, especially on large displays, to move the cursor back and forth. Why, when you can press cmd + q
This is a feature of Mac OS. On x, only the window closes, not the application.
This cannot be removed using any toggle switch in the settings.
Perhaps if something is screwed up in the system files, it will work.
upd: I googled, I didn’t find anything at all on Russian forums, maby on foreign ones will help with something.
