Why does PhpStorm steal files?
I have a funny situation. Not so long ago, I switched from text editors to PhpStorm IDE in development and everything would be fine, but there is one thing.
When I need to find a specific function in a large project, a fragment when, I did it as always - I drove the necessary query into the search for the project folder, and Finder (Retreat, High Sierra OS) gave me the result. Sometimes, as a result of the search, I get several files and when I start throwing them into the IDE, they disappear in the Finder output (In the search result window)! After that, the search does not look for them. I close PhpStorm, I close the files, but the search still stops working on them.
In the directory itself, the files remain - but you must admit, it becomes damn inconvenient.

Search through PhpStorm . There are many handy tools for searching and replacing. Select a specific folder in the tree and press Shift + Command + F .
If you hold Command and left-click on a function, class or variable, you will be transferred to where this entity is declared.
