How to solve the problem with the Intel HD driver?
lenovo with intel pentium g3250. The graphics are integrated. OS WIN 7 64bit.
The problem is that an update of the Intel video driver arrived last Sunday, namely 10.18.14.5117. When you install it, the driver starts to fall (this can be seen in the Windows logs). after that the computer catches bsod.
The problem is temporarily solved by several options:
- using the rollback button in the device manager to the driver 10.18.10.4425
- uninstalling the driver
- disabling the graphics adapter.
In this case, after a day or two, Windows itself installs the driver, connects the graphics adapter and the problem returns.
To prevent this from happening, I tried:
- Updates - uncheck the desired update - RMB - hide update.
- Turn off the search for new hardware: computer-properties-change settings-hardware-install hardware settings-never install drivers.
- Turn off the update service (through the services themselves)
- Remove the driver manually, install the old 10,18,10,4425.
