How to simulate road traffic?
It is required to build a realistic model of city traffic. Just a graph with random cars will not work.
It is necessary to simulate such phenomena as rush hour, traffic jams, accidents, the behavior of road users. Also calculate elementary physics: reducing speed when turning, avoiding obstacles, overtaking and changing lanes.
The model will be used to analyze changes in road infrastructure and ways to optimize traffic (choose a traffic light mode, build a new road, and so on).
Are there libraries or any other solutions so as not to reinvent the wheel?

Here , you can press CTRL + U, scroll to the very bottom and read the scripts.
You open Google Scholar and read the first five to ten pages. After reading it, it may easily turn out that not only is physics not necessary for you, but in general transport networks can be tested without cars.
