How to set up compressed doker or where is the dokerfile?

Hello!
I thought that docker containers would be more convenient, but I still didn’t figure it out well.
Created some containers, the server flew. I made a save of containers, got tar.gz, threw it on a new system, made a load and everything works! Shock!
Initially, I had a dokerfile in the folder where the settings were, very convenient. But now it is one tar.gz file, the contents of which are not clear.
Now I need to make a clone of the container and change the settings. Tell me how to do it?

@Skit25

I went into the container, installed vim, took the settings because of which all the fuss.
I created a dokerfile, added the necessary settings and created the image again.
We see it in no other way.
Everything is working.
