How to run BIOSTAR A770E with Phenom 2 955?
Hello everyone, by my mistake I bought phenom 2 x4 955 (TDP=125W) for my BIOSTAR A770E ver 6.4 (TDPmax=95w), according to the specification it supports processors up to phenom 2 945. After updating the BIOS, it still started, but only with two cores instead of 4, as I understand it, the main problem is overloading the circuits, but you can deal with this by lowering the frequency from 3.2 GHz to 3.0, for example. The question is how to run this processor with all cores?

Look in the BIOS (in the "CPU" section) for options to enable and disable the processor cores, on Phenoms, it was definitely some cores that were disabled.
