I have been using macOS for many years and only now I found out that such a wonderful feature is also here))
First I had to find out how to enable it

defaults write -g ApplePressAndHoldEnabled -bool true

Well, it turns off accordingly by the command

defaults write -g ApplePressAndHoldEnabled -bool false

Then log in to the system.
