I have an Asus Zenbook UX32VD laptop. Along with Windows, I had Ubuntu installed, which I used. But now I bought myself a Macbook Pro and the old laptop needs to be sold. I demolished Ubuntu by deleting the partitions it was on. Now you need to reinstall Windows, but the problem is that it does not see Recovery. Those. Nothing happens on F9 at startup, and when I try to restore the system, it says that something is missing. Recovery itself is visible in Disk Management. How can I now reinstall Windows without losing my license? Can I somehow transfer this Recovery to a USB flash drive and install from it? I read that you can say the same Windows image and install it, but how do you know which image is needed?

you can search for a recovery image on trackers, the same root tracker; you can try to put the system clean, tk. the keys in modern laptops are sewn in and should not be lost (I did exactly that on my own)

It turned out that under the terms of Microsoft, you can order the original disk with Windows from your laptop from the laptop manufacturer and the manufacturer has no legal rights to refuse. And yet, all laptops with pre-installed Windows that I had were asked to backup the Recovery partition, this request, as you already understood, should not be ignored. Do not listen to the advice to download software from unknown sources a la torrents! You can download an image infected with something!!! The laptop must have a sticker with a key, it has an OS edition, you need to download a distribution kit with such an edition and drive the key from the sticker.
