Connecting a USB camera to an ASUS RT-N16 router using dd-wrt

I want to organize video surveillance (neighbors got shitting in the entrance) using a regular webcam and a router with a screw connected, to store the archive of video recordings. Maybe there are craftsmen who set up such a system?

I set it up like this, but I used openwrt. It is full of manuals how to give a stream. I don’t know if there is a motion record, because then it will be problematic to watch the archive. I set up the software on the PC, so all the video was stored on the PC.
