MacBook Pro 13 "2014 8Gb. The speed of the interface is just shit.
Google Docs - slows down.
Vkontakte - even the animation of highlighting menu items on hover slows down.
On the previous MacBook Pro 13" 2013 4Gb it was exactly the same.
How can you kick him and make him work for those almost pieces of bucks that he costs with us? I already believe in a conspiracy that they purposely do everything there good, but a little slowing down, so that people upgrade the pieces of iron.
Spotlight has been indexed for a long time, only 40GB is occupied, fully charged.

sudo nvram boot-args="vm_compressor=1"

If you have upgraded from Maverick to Yosemite, then I would recommend a clean install.
After installing Yosemite on a blank disk, everything flies.

I have a macbook pro late 2013 4gb ram. On OS X 10.10, nothing slows down, the browser, toys, Windows, everything flies. The best solution to any lags is to reinstall the system on a blank disk.
