How to make an effect from a finished character animation?

I have an fbx animation of the character and the character itself, how can I turn this animation into an effect (vfx) and use it as a special effect, like fire, etc.

Umm... no way?!
For some reason, you assigned the very concept of vfx the ability to be a preset, although this is not so.
Vfx is just special effects. But how they are achieved is another question.
You're just putting together completely different things. It's like trying to cross a moose and a hedgehog and wonder why the giraffe didn't work out.
Again. VFX is just a definition of all the visual effects in the world, not something that can be saved and pasted somewhere. Here you edited a video where you shoot like a blaster with your hand, in After Effects you added a beam from your hand. - This is your VFX.
