How to make a previous generation Macbook Pro send audio via HDMA?

No matter how much I studied the materials, the sound should work, which confirms the presence of an entry in the Sytem Profiler / Audio (there is no entry in the previous generation laptop). However, there is no sound.
If anything, the laptop’s video card is Geforce 320M (as I understand it, this is somehow connected with it, I saw a topic on one of the forums where people patch video card drivers, but this one was not there).
