How to install Wordpress in a folder?

There is a main site: www.sitename.ru
There is something like a "subsite": www.sitename.ru/subsite
Task: install WordPress CMS only on the "subsite"
Question: How?
PS I read the instructions, googled the info, the issue remained unresolved

1. Создаем на фтп папку /подсайт
   
2. Грузим туда установочные файлы чистого ворпдресса
   
3. Заходим на www.названиесайта.ru/подсайт/wp-admin/install
   
4. Устанавливаем WP
