Combine content in one blog, or divide into thematic ones?

Hello.
I decided to run some kind of blog, but the content is very diverse: DIY, industrial design, web development, web design, and electronics - in general, quite a lot of things. In this connection, the question arose: should all this content be divided into more or less thematic blogs, or should it be lumped into one, organizing some kind of information portal?
I understand that one site will require a more complex architecture and be more technically complex - this is not a problem. Interested solely in the side of SEO and common sense :)

What complex architecture are we talking about? Have you decided to write a blog engine yourself?
Do it on one site, but enter thematic sections. In this case, content updates will be more frequent and its volume more impressive than if you spread it all across different sites.
