Who had the experience of creating a full-fledged blog on 1C-Bitrix?
Hello!
Question on choosing a CMS
There is a need to create a website together with a full-fledged blog.
The site will be advertising and informational, like a corporate one.
What you need from the site:
- Fast loading speed
- Good ranking by search engines (good code quality, fast loading)
But the blog should be a full-fledged blog:
- it is convenient to post articles (records), no worse than in Wordpress
- it is convenient to place pictures and tables in the text articles (records)
- a full-fledged ability to comment
- the ability to comment from the social. networks
- tight integration of the site and blog with social. networks: VK, FB, Instagram
Now I'm already considering: Wordpress / Bitrix. Theoretically still thinking about ModX.
I like Bitrix very much, but I am very confused by its capabilities and functionality for maintaining a full-fledged blog, which, I repeat, is convenient to write to.
Guys, share your experience on the Bitrix account, please.

In general, here's how it turned out:
1. After a long ordeal and belief that MODx rules - we made a blog on it. Since the system is rather complicated and there are few sensible specialists, we had to change three performers before finding one sensible one.
An intelligent programmer and developer for MODx was found, and the most interesting thing is that this person only works with this CRM, which is probably why he is so special. In general, in 2 weeks he installed everything, set it up, spent another 2 weeks on completing the work and various improvements.
As a result, it turned out that MODx is in no way suitable for a blog :-( It is completely inconvenient to use it for publishing articles. The functionality in this regard is very very limited. And it is very difficult for a content manager who is not very strong in programming.
In short, for every edit, for every sneeze, you need to invite a programmer again. Or keep permanently in the state.
2. We tried to make a blog on Bitrix. The situation is no better there. There are also difficulties with the publication of records, especially when this is done on an ongoing basis and there is no intelligent specialist at hand.
3. As a result, it was decided to transfer everything to Wordpress. Here, of course, there were also some difficulties with finding a developer, because, as they say, "We have enough personnel, we have no one to work with."
The main difficulty was for one person to do everything completely and accurately, without crutches and jambs, so that everything was clear and logical.
On the third, again, time, there was such a person who quickly and competently did everything. Today the site is working very well and fast. Writing and publishing entries does not cause any difficulties. Everything is set up easily, quickly and without problems. Doesn't fall. It is convenient to make backups and, in which case, return everything in place.
That's all :) Thank you all for your attention!
By the way. I need an intelligent programmer, developer on Wordpress and a wise content manager to join the team. Who cares - write from the site: solodukha.com
Here there is a problem with Bitrix
- Fast loading speed
- Good ranking by search engines (good code quality, fast loading)
How I believe the question of the budget is not worth it? If so, then Bitrix is quite suitable, you can finish it under the above requirements.
- Fast loading speed
- Good ranking by search engines (good code quality, fast loading)
I would not recommend Bitrix for a blog either, it is too redundant and heavy for this purpose.

Alexey Emelyanov: There will be one blog on the site. It will be a type of corporate blog on a corporate website. Only here the number of visitors I see is about 5-6 thousand per month.
On the one hand, Wordpress is good, but weighty and will slow down.
On the other hand, Bitrix has a similar story
A with the third - you need an engine where it’s really convenient to blog, with a clear admin panel and fast.
:-))) Yes, I want everything at once
5-6 thousand per month- maybe a day?
Randomly ran into a question. ModX / Bitrix / Wordpress, everything is decided by the developer, he worked with three - frankly, none of them suits. But it's faster and more reliable than Wordpress, and it's not ModX. ModX is good for a salary earner, it’s faster to land, but there’s no question of any purity of the code :)) - do you want a clean code!? forget about CMS - only microframeworks! For the user, of course, logical Wordpress. With skillful use, Wordpress is quite nimble, but in view of its simplicity, many people use it as is. Also DLE, I started working with it, at about the same level with Wordpress (I don’t mean a site with page 20, but let’s say a news portal like Kaspersky’s, which, by the way, is on WP!) & I don’t recommend Bitrix at all - a dead end, except for those who have not grown up to microframeworks yet. In addition, it is easier to write your own cms (simple! ) for a site of 20-30 pages. How to deal with chunks or infoblocks ) And you don’t need to fill in that Bitrix is safer )) 27% of sites on WP in the world where Bitrix won’t even pull out 0.01% and don’t read purchased analytical reviews )
