How to install HP LaserJet Pro MFP M426fdw (Win 8.1) software?

Windows 8.1 x64 I

download from the official site a package for installing drivers and software. Removed everything that is possible from past printers. I start the installation ( according to the installation rules, the MFP should not yet be connected). After 5-10 sec. the installer reports an error (no number), offers to restart the PC and repeat the installation. Reboot does not solve the problem. Running the installer as administrator and disabling the antivirus does not solve the problem. However, the drivers are installed, but somehow crookedly: when sending a document for printing, in order to print it, you must confirm the print by pressing the button on the MFP itself. Forcibly changed the print output specification from "auto-detect" to "tray 2". In the first case, a message appears that paper must be taken from tray 1, in the second case - from tray 2, but without pressing the button, printing does not go.

I've been fighting for a few days now.

If anyone had a similar problem and has a solution, please share!

PS You also had to install ViPNet Client on this computer. After installing and rebooting the PC - twice the blue screen of death, then rollback the system. Doesn't the computer itself die?

@StupidQuestion

It's all 8.1. I have already found so many problems with this "garbage dump". Starting from "You can't rename the computer" to "Error in the descriptor of something there" .... in general, the most garbage I've seen is 8, 8.1. Lives his own life.
Reinstall to 7 or 10.
Does this device have a web muzzle? Should. Look at something there.
Just the other day I was fiddling with the M477fdw. Excel couldn't scale. The problem is not in Excel. A lot of fuss, search - a simple reinstallation on 7 and all problems disappeared.
