Good afternoon everyone!
Please help me with the issue of increasing the volume of the raid without stopping the server.
There is a server Windows Server 2008 R2. It has an intel embedded server raid technology 2 controller, I installed Raid Web Console 2 on the server. RAID 10 was assembled from 6 disks of 2 TB each.
It's time to scale up the raid. Replaced all 6 disks with 4 TB volume. Rebuild was successful everywhere. Then I went to Raid WebConsole 2 where I saw 5 TB of free unallocated space. But it's impossible to partition (create a new logical disk) free space through Raid WebConsole 2. An incomprehensible error appears, I think this is a software error. Please reply if anyone has experienced this. How to fix this problem? Attached are screenshots of my problem.
