HBA 9400-8i storcli description = unsupported command Why?

Misters experts, your consultation is necessary.
I have an LSI (Broadcom) HBA 9400-8i Chip Name SAS3408 device with 2 SATA drives.
through storcli disks are visible and interrogated.

Tell me the reason for this behavior on what seems to be normal commands?

storcli /cx add vd each type=raid1 size=all name=raid1 drives=0:0-1

also changed the port
storcli /cx add vd each type=raid1 size=all name=raid1 drives=0:4-5

According to the documentation, everything seems to be correct, but the error for some of the commands is the same
description = unsupported command

@Tabletko

Most likely it is in IT firmware, in which the card works in HBA mode and there are no raids.
