Virtual machine, virtual raid, swap - how to optimize with an SSD?

Given:
1) Server, Intel Xeon x5460 processor
2) 32 GB DDR3 memory
3) Two 1 TB HDDs in a virtual raid array.
4) Proxmox with a virtual machine
5) Windows Server 2008 in a virtual machine, with a terminal server and 30 users with it.
6) Added a 100 GB SSD drive to the configuration
Question for experts:
I tried to completely disable the paging file on the system drive by placing it on the SSD. After rebooting, Windows swears, writes incorrect paging file settings. Googled. I reduced the file on the system disk to 1 GB, on the SSD - I tried to set it manually and at the choice of the system. File on sys. disk decreases, appears and disappears on the SSD. The disk after reset is pristine empty.
What am I doing wrong?
Perhaps you should move the temporary folders and WBEM to the SSD? (advice found right there on the toaster)
Maybe swap the disk with Linux/Proxmox?
What would you recommend to speed up server performance?
