How to increase the chances of getting a job as a junior frontend developer?

Good afternoon.
1) I heard that there is a lot of competition among junior front-end developers. How can you stand out (in a good way) from other candidates and increase your chances of getting a job?
2) If there are no vacancies for juniors in the city, then respond to vacancies for middles?
3) Is it possible to become a middle without having experience in commercial development, i.e. studying at home for courses, etc.?

I heard that there is a lot of competition among junior front-end developers.

I didn't notice the competition while looking for a job as a pythonist. Judging by hh - most of the "competitors" do not know how to put words into sentences, I doubt that they are able to write software. At least half falls on data types (DATA TYPES CARL), the other half on test ones.
3) Is it possible to become a middle without having experience in commercial development, i.e. studying at home

Yes, but it will be slow, pointless and unlikely.
those. studying at home for courses

No. Although this is not entirely true, it is like gaining muscle mass by eating only greens - in theory it is possible, in real life it is almost unattainable.

1. Portfolio, as an option, you can make a site for yourself, relatives, friends, neighbors ...
2. As a source of information, what to learn is quite possible.
3. Of course you can, no one forbids you. It's like being a gynecologist on Pornhub, a truck driver, and a physicist on Discovery.

If you finish your studies to the level of a mid-developer, you can very easily get a job as a junior developer.

1) You can't stand out.
2) Yes, you can, but depending on how you learn. Now the number of video tutorials and articles is sky-high, not the year 2000. One person decided that it was only possible to grow to middle in a web studio and got a job in one where he had to rake tons of homocode and after 1.5 years of work he did not become middle even close.
Bottom line: it is best to get a job in a normal office and gain experience there or study at home. It’s not worth going to the homo-studio to write homo-code, you will never become a middle there.

in the next thread, we found out that the competition among those who have not even mastered one book, and those who have read four immediately fly into work, in this aspect, such competition is everywhere where work skills are not required.
I have lived all my life without having a clue what a junior middle and a senior is and I always found a job, if these words bother you, just make a rule to ignore them and everything will be ok.
well, if you are strong in spirit and give out 1000 lines of code a day, it’s easy
