For educational purposes, I installed Ubuntu Server on a VMWare virtual machine, you need to be able to see it from LAN.
Host machine - Windows 7, DHCP
Essence: To be able to access the server on the guest machine from the host machine by ip of the form 192.168.XX
I tried through a network bridge - I looked in the windows network control center for the addresses of working VMWare adapters, tried to connect to each on port 80 - does not exceed.
Apache itself in Ubuntu responds quite well.

Setting up a virtual machine on the network. On the server, configure either getting ip via DHCP or static settings for your subnet.
