VMware Fusion 5 virutalka not going into standby mode?

After updating to 10.7.5, when trying to send the virtual machine to standby mode, the whole process stops for a few minutes, and then a trace appears. the message

"Cannot find a valid peer process to connect to"

the virtual machine process itself continues to run in the background. if you try to run it right away, then the previous message appears in turn, and the next.

“Failed to power on… Transport (VMDB) error -14: Pipe connection has been broken”

if you kill the process, the virtual machine boots.

- VMware reinstalled, virtual machine too, restored access rights, does not help.

There is a rather old entry in the vmware knowledge base about similar behavior after updating to 10.7.4: kb.vmware.com/kb/2020651
As far as I understand, this happens with all virtual machines?
