Virtual machine with PXE boot and 3D
There is a small fix idea to raise a virtual machine server at home and then connect to it using thin clients / just stupid devices (netbook, tablet) in order to use the hardware to the maximum.
It seems that using VMWare vSphere it was possible to raise the server and boot into a virtual machine, but in this all the lack of support for 3d acceleration in esxi was very sad.
Knowledgeable people, please tell me how (using which platform, software, how direct hands) can I get what I want?

On tablets (except for x86 under Windows), it will not be possible to achieve sane performance for working with 3d or viewing HD content.
Just to play around, deploy Citrix XenServer + XenDesktop + Provisioning Services. There are 3D, and PXE boot, and clients for various types of devices.
If you need remote 3D, then only linux, or rather xorg-server, provides sane tools for remote access to the 3D accelerator, only in this case the program on the server is granted access to the accelerator on the client.
Plus, virtual machines provide very castrated access to the host's physical hardware (the exception is pci / pci-e transfer, but inexpensive hardware support is required, and exclusive access for each virtual machine has its own board).
I dug under windows at one time, there were quite expensive tools for translating opengl calls (that is, directx applications will not work), perhaps more developed now, but don’t expect universal support for tablets.
ps for sure, when using any iron solutions, such an infrastructure can be built, for example, the onlive service obviously does not work on purely physical pieces of iron (but it is possible there are solutions from the aster level multidisktop category from ibik.ru plus an iron video encoder and keyboard and mouse controllers).
