How to give openvpn local ip address?
Colleagues, good afternoon.
Can you please tell me if openvpn can give the client a given local ip-address?
What we have now: vpn, with the help of which I get into the local network. Let's say openvpn-server is on the 192.168.1.10 wheelbarrow.
And if I connect via VPN, then I go to all machines on the 1.0/24 network with the address 1.10.
But this is not what I expect.
Is it possible to do this: I connect via vpn. VPN understands that I am client-1 and issues a given static address 192.168.1.100 and I already go to the cars with IT.
And the openvpn-car with the openvpn-server acts only as a server, while I have a different ip-address.
I don't know if this can be done, and if so, how.
Thanks for answers!

You can

I think you have NAT enabled on 1.10, but without NAT it doesn't work at all.
On a good note, you need to specify a route to the VPN network on the router, then you can turn off NAT and local cars will see your VPN address, and not 1.10.
