OpenVPN / VirtualBox - how to proxy all traffic through VPN to VM?

Hello.
There is a host (W7 64) with an Ubuntu virtual machine. It has an OpenVPN server. The "Network bridge" mode is set between the host and the machine. Also, a VPN connection is established.
There is a task - to proxy all traffic from a host through VPN on VM.
OpenVPN has a redirect-gateway def1 option for the client, but browsers won't even open sites with it.
What I expect is to go to the site myip.ru and see the IP assigned by the VPN server.
