How to get your first job on upwork?

I can't get my first upwork assignment.
I've been sitting for a week, even if I wrote in the top five in some "simple" task, where they pay $ 50, I assure you that I will do everything quickly, efficiently, etc., etc., still the "interview" does not come.
The profile is completely completed, successfully passed the tests for English, Java and .net.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
Here is the prototype of my cover letter
Hi, I am *name* from Russia (UTC+3)
Quick plan of your task:
*describe the approximate work plan that I plan to complete, the architecture of the future application, or the skills that I have to complete this order"
and I am ready to explore deeper on interviews
.
In my profile, you can see more info about me.
kind regards.

Hello.
I successfully boosted my profile on Upwork to 80 bucks per hour (now I don't use Upwork anymore), recommended my system to other friends who successfully found projects later. Therefore, I will try to briefly explain:
- The first project is the hardest to find, I was looking for about a month.
- You need to look for something "safe", a project that will not take you much time and that you are sure you will do.
- I advise you not to even think about hourly work, the chance is extremely small.
- If you have the opportunity, ask one of your existing clients to hire you (or just give them a hundred bucks to allegedly pay you for your work).
- There are several "prime times" on the upwork - periods in which new work appears, I usually monitor the work for a couple of hours a day. Don't spend too much time hunting. :)
- Refuse any letter templates, I recommend as an employer, template letters are immediately visible - they do not inspire confidence.
- Try to record a video as a cover letter - only this will help you stand out among other candidates
- Highlight the most important elements in the job offer and explain how you want to solve them gracefully. At the end, offer to discuss all the requirements, ask some leading questions, give advice (you need your client to learn something new from you). The fact that you immediately draw up a work plan and architecture according to the description - without any clarifications and questions - sounds extremely fantastic.

why the hell do you write what your name is if it’s so obvious from your profile why the
hell you write about your belt, thereby you repel 100% of customers, since the time zone differs from them by 9 hours
write to it,
but what the hell is this?
and I am ready to explore deeper on interviews.
I am very interested in this project because I like to program in *.net, java*.
In my profile, you can see more info about me.
kind regards.

Hello! (Alas, I don’t know the name) I
found the link on the toaster. Did I understand correctly that while working in Thailand, you can offer some remote vacancies / freelancing?

Puma
What do you know how to do and why?
02/04/16
Igor
First of all C# .net, more experience on Desktop (WPF), growing in ASP.NET. I can also C++. Is there anything at all remote using such technologies? For the price - to start 15$

deployed only dotnet applications
excellent) I thought that with .net you can not dream about remote work. Thank you, I'll look
. But on the tenth of August, in fact, 6 months have passed.
Igor
Good time)
A lot has happened since our last conversation, I did 3 projects on UpWork, visited Koh Samui, and decided to move there. Can you help me with a couple of tips?
10.08.16
Puma I'll help 10.08.16
Igor Is it really possible to break through the Internet on Koh Samui (video-Skype, remote desktop)? 08/10/16 and the second question, is this for 20 thousand baht - is it expensive? I need to find housing, I'm not in the subject at all:

Clients, first of all, look at the portfolio. The portfolio should contain 3 - 5 of your best works. Tests are not as important as a portfolio. Try to take the simplest projects for 15 - 20 dollars, that is, in fact, for reviews. And another very important thing: when writing a bid, personalize it as much as possible. Write why you are interested in this particular project , that you know how to do this or that as efficiently as possible. And if possible, that you have already done this, with a link to a project from your portfolio.
I never copy-pasted bids in my life, I always wrote for each specific project. And in 50% of cases I received this project.

You do very much “wrong”, a resume is an advertisement, an advertisement should be beautiful, I read it, I wanted to answer and read something else: write pleasant things about the customer and his project, write beautifully on technical topics, giving the impression of not “super-duper- ace" but not an "amateur" like "like" and "program", but rather an experienced specialist, finally write beautifully about yourself: show a decent portfolio, and if you don't have it, then focus on experience, and it's doubtful about Russia, UTC I am what the customer wants me to be.

Didn't find what you were looking for?
