How to flash a TP-Link router via tftp?

I need to install dd-wrt on tp-link wr940n v6. As it turned out, this cannot be done through the graphical interface, it gives an error 18005, the version is allegedly different. I googled and it turned out that this is most likely due to the ru region, if you download the firmware through the graphical interface, there is a check for the region and if it does not match, then this is considered a different version, so it does not allow you to install. Through tftp, as I read, there are no checks, I decided to try through it. I downloaded the utility, read the guides, but ran into a problem: the firmware does not want to load at all, the process of downloading it to the router simply does not start. I read that you need to hold down the wps button and then plug it into the outlet, then the download will start, but it doesn’t start for me. I have set different addresses for the computer and the router. My router is 192.168.0.2 and my PC is 192.168.0.3
