How to find the hosts file in Windows 7 x64?

I had to add a couple of lines to hosts, open the C drive, look for it in the standard path System32\drivers\etc, but there is no etc folder. The system does not allow creating the etc folder.

I saw this once when the user used a third-party file manager.
Are you using Explorer or something else?

Set the rights for the user and create

And if you open Notepad as administrator, then File-Open and paste the path in the file name field
Or does it say that there is no such file?
