The bottom line is this, the customer wants some kind of Web application, the functions of the application that he wants, he cannot fully form due to many different factors, so we decided to agree on consulting until the TOR is formed. Therefore, I want to know who evaluates how, where you can peep methods, tips.
It’s just that the hours are not very convenient, a lot of offline work, just reflections or discussions in correspondence.
If there is a fixed fee for a period of time (a week, a month), then there is not enough experience, how much time it can take, those estimates that come out give out - in my opinion - a frightening price.

Add work by hours offline. You can discuss this in advance that you have such and such work offline, and you will also bill these hours but no more than X hours per week. The right customer will agree.
you also need to determine the reality of the price and not that it scares you or not. You should not underestimate simply because you are afraid to issue such an invoice - if you have calculated and received some amount, focus on it.
And then it turns out later that you were right in your estimates, and the amount was said to be three times less because it was scary, and now you are sitting for the second week working for free. Isn't that scary? :)
