How to estimate the cost of advertising on the site?
Good afternoon.
Could you please tell me the method of estimating the market value of advertising space on the site.
There are a lot of offers, but all with some not the best offhand conditions.
In any case, there is a site with a clear theme, an understanding of the interests of the audience, its gender and age structures, the size of advertising spaces and the number of their impressions per month, how to get an adequate cost from this?
Maybe you can recommend a suitable agency.
Thank you!

Initially, evaluate the cost of advertising from competitors/partners from your segment, compare it with what you can offer (adjust for yourself, i.e. if the competitors are much larger, the audience coverage is greater - your advertising is unlikely to cost more) .
This way you will get the market value of advertising on your site.
I thought a lot about this. IMHO, the price should eventually decide itself. Here you have a number of proposals, take the average. This will be your price. If later the number of offers increases, then increase the price.
It all depends on the topic and on the country (in principle, other indicators can be taken into account, for example, gender and age structure). For example, for Russia / CIS for IT sites, a standard horizontal banner at the top of the page (728 px) or vertical skyscrapers on the right and left side of the page with 1000 visitors per day will cost about 80-90 dollars per month. Well, depending on attendance, the figure can be scaled.
I can’t say for sure about other types of banners, but a little less. If the same horizontal banner is at the bottom of the page outside the visibility area, then naturally the price will be lower.
Again, this is for IT topics, but for example, for the "Real Estate" topic, the price of an advertising space will be higher.
You can also experiment with adsense or Yandex Direct and try to figure out approximate prices using them.
