How to enable double quotes on MacOS Catalina in code editors and IDE?
For so long, I completely updated the system on a poppy and ran into such a problem: all code editors and IDEs stopped putting a couple of quotes at once. Those. before, when you click on a quote character, they automatically put two quotes ("" or ''). Now they put one quote, after which you need to press the spacebar so that the second one is substituted. It's wildly inconvenient.
Has anyone encountered such a problem? I will be grateful for help.

Go to Settings->Keyboard->Input Sources and replace (first add, then remove) ABC (or whatever you have there) with English->US (No PC!)
Everything works. Absolutely stock system without any settings.
