How to enable arrow control in the console?
Changed server. On the previous server, you could press the up arrow and the last command entered would appear. The pointer could be moved by the arrows, and now some rubbish is being written to the console. How to fix?

The problem is in the sequences your terminal emulator is passing. bash (and by default as a shell) always reacts normally to arrows and moves through history, if rubbish is written, then your terminal emulator is transmitting some other key codes.
