What am I doing wrong when logging into EC2 with a key?
Hello.
I'm trying to set up key authentication on an EC2 Amazon instance. Local computer on Win8.
I read https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuid...
0. I create an instance from the ami-7f0b1d1e image in the us-west-2b zone (I took from Bitrix www.1c-bitrix.ru/products /vmbitrix/index.php?sphra...
1. I create a key pair in the EC2 panel, download the private key
2. I generate a .ppk key for PUTTY from it
3. I specify ec2-user as the username, as the host - instance public DNS
4. Trying to connect - "Server refused our key" & "Disconnected. No supported authentication method aviable (server sent: publickey)"
