How to cure PC shutdown exactly 30 minutes after turning it on?
Symptoms of the disease:
- there is a desktop PC, assembled by hand from the latest components
- from a certain moment (about a year after the PC was assembled, the hardware did not change), it began to turn off by itself exactly 30:00 minutes after it was turned on.
- reinstalling the OS, the format of the main hard drive, flashing the BIOS did not help
- replacing the power supply with a new and more powerful one also did not help
- the PC turns off even if you do not load the OS, but just sit these 30 minutes in the BIOS.
- checked by all popular antiviruses both before and after a complete reinstallation of the system, nothing was found.

Thanks to all. I tried all the methods indicated - nothing helped, in the end I spat and bought a new motherboard. Everything is ok now :)
I had something similar. The computer periodically began to turn off every hour exactly exactly. Those. it could work well for a week, and then turn off for a week when the system clock reached the hour boundary (15.00, 16.00, 17.00, etc.). Of course, at the beginning I double-checked everything I could, tried all sorts of ups, updated the firmware wherever possible. I changed the OS, tried to leave it in the BIOS (it also turned off). It turned out it was all about the motherboard. The mother was DP35DP, you can google about this problem, but not everyone had it! While Intel cleared everything and released a new BIOS, I was already ready to shoot myself))
IMHO you have something similar, it's in the motherboard. Look for information on it, maybe someone has already described something similar. Stay tuned for new bios releases. Good luck to you!
There was a similar problem due to swollen (read defective) motherboard capacitors.
Check the temperature of the iron, most likely the problem is with overheating
For the sake of interest, try to take the system unit to a friend and run it there.
