How to create a betting site?

Hello. How difficult is it to create a betting site alone, from scratch? Odds for matches do not interest me, they will be formed in real time depending on the amount bet on a particular team.
Studied html and css, read the basics of js.
What is the best way to do everything?
As an option, make it to order, but turnkey sites are quite expensive, as I understand it. Therefore, the expensive option does not suit me.
Another option. Make the layout yourself, and someone else will do the rest for a fee. But here it is no longer clear how much it will cost, and whether they will undertake this.
The cheapest option, but difficult - to do everything yourself. It seems that creating a website is not so difficult. But if you look at the scripts written for some site, then they are quite large there, and I don’t understand how to do this myself. Or in such cases, something ready is taken and customized? Also the server part, which at the moment is not at all clear to me, what is being done, how and why.
How realistic is it to implement this project yourself?

Most likely, with your knowledge, it will come out very unlikely.
And so it is quite real, but it takes time and more knowledge.

I understand the topic a bit and I am confused by your "Odds for matches do not interest me, they will be formed in real time depending on the amount bet on a particular team." As far as I know, now bookmakers are very developed - there are a lot of events on which you can bet, and not just the outcome of the match. Data for events and coefficients to buy is about several thousand dollars per month. Plus, lay down on expenses in the first months, because there are pitfalls here. Himself - you need to hire at least a few people for this business.
Those. to make a simple site with bets on outcomes is, by my standards, very simple. But it will be very difficult to attract people there, because. everything will be much more interesting for your competitors, which cannot be achieved without money. And do you have at least ~ 50 thousand rubles. for advertising per month (and you will see profit, at best, in a year)? Are you ready to take such a risk?

Unreal! You will start and after a couple of months you will understand that you do not need it. Especially if you want to do such a complex project. Why do you think they are so expensive? Because it is difficult)
At the expense of design, given that you have no experience, it is also unlikely that something will turn out good.
well, even if you still decide to do it yourself, then the site will most likely turn out to be clumsy and bumpy. Again, due to experience. It is unrealistic to make a gun the first time.

There are a lot of ready-made solutions for this business. If you don’t have money, go to warez and look for a broken version. Then patch holes so that data is not stolen. And then you can apply your knowledge of front-end languages and make your website layout. And so you need a clear T3 to understand where to direct you and what to do and read.
and on request in Google Online Betting Templates - a sea of templates, at least to understand what you need.

HTML, css, and js will not be enough here. You need to do something else on the backend - php, python, ruby on rails, parser .. As an option with js knowledge, of course, you can do with Node.js. But for a complex project, knowledge of databases is still needed.
All the same, you need to start with simpler projects, since studying and stuffing cones in the development process will take a VERY long time.
