How to connect coolers with rgb correctly?

Case zet rare h1. Asrock390 steel legend mother with rgb support. If I connect standard fans to the motherboard from the front in order to set control through the software to them, from the button on the system unit case, they will no longer work, as I understand it? Or do you need an adapter of some sort?
