But how to influence it using a key combination?
If you create, for example, a BAT nickname that changes the key in the registry, then 2 problems arise:
first, the current layout does not change (although the default value is set)
second, a black cmd window pops up
In general, someone tried to achieve similar behavior from Win ? What are some ideas?

The seventh does not know how. Either update to 8 - global switching is enabled by default there and there is a corresponding checkmark in the settings, or use third-party software.
