Curious about the Internet. Result:
In your position, I would cut off the cord from a dead PSU, ring out the wires. Extreme contacts - Minus, 2 closer to the center - Plus, middle - informational.
The nominal voltage of native charging is 16.5 volts. I would take any charge from a laptop at 18 volts (the difference is not critical) and connect it to Poppy cord. The middle contact would be left free. Then I would try - whether the switched off Mac charges or not, turns on and whether it works from it or not. Earned - here it is, HAPPINESS! It didn't work - we smoke for 10 days ...

Cut off the string and solder it to the block from 16 to 24 volts. Anyone will do.
The second option is to pull out the battery and charge it through the laboratory unit, but this is even more theory on how to properly charge and is more difficult to implement.
