How to back up virtual machines of the free edition of ESXI for free?
A backup is required once a month for several Linux virtual machines deployed on esxi 6.7.0

Here is an interesting article. Haven't tried it myself. A backup is such a valuable thing that it is better to buy it. It will be cheaper when it's time to restore something. And it may turn out that the backup seems to be there ... but it is not there.

Veeam Agent inside linux can make a full backup of the machine. It is possible in conjunction with the Veeam B&R Community, or separately as a standalone solution.
