How to solve Spotlight connection problem?

Faced a problem connecting Spotlight for MSSQL 10.0.1.6998 to VMware ESXi 6.7.
After the administrators updated esxi, an error began to appear in spotlight:

Connection Failure  Cannot connect to VMware server:

Непредвиденная ошибка при передаче. : 
Аутентификация не пройдена из-за закрытия транспортного потока удаленной стороной. (requires acknowledgement)

The admins tried to give full rights to the account under which the connection to esxi takes place, it was checked that there is a connection on port 443, the networkers said that there were no restrictions.
I can't figure out what's wrong.

It looks like I found what's wrong, as I understand it, VMware from version 6.7 works by default with TLS 1.2, and Spotlight only supports TLS 1.2 from version 12.0. After trying to install Spotlight 13.0 with a trial key, it hooked up to VMware without any problems.
So it looks like now you have to look for some kind of analogue of free Spotlight, or software from a Russian developer that is not with a huge price tag.
