Hello, can you tell me how to apply the "dip to black" transition effect so that it works only on the attached video (picture in picture), and does not produce any reaction to the main video?

Make a subsequence out of everything that is in layer V2 (select, RMB - there will be a command). Then all the effects will be inside it.
