How many A DNS records can one domain have?
We have a mail server that is tied to a domain, all types of records are configured there, and now I want to tie a site to the same domain. Will it be enough to add another A-record with a different IP, or do I need to do something else? Or change the current A-record on the domain?

You need to create an MX record for the mailer and change the A record. Let's say you have a domain example.com
138.2.43.15 - mailer address
138.2.43.16 - site address
You need
MX records 10 mail.example.com
A mail.example.com 138.2.43.15
A example.com 138.2.43.16
SPF and DKIM are also needed reconfigure to mail.example.com

Make site.ru A record with one IP and mail.site.ru A record with another IP (although you can keep the site and the mail server on the same IP) and don't suffer.
