How long did it take to get used to, having changed the first place of work to another?

I already asked a similar question here, but I would like a few nuances and a little about something else. And if it's trite, then simple everyday advice for my situation.

How long did it take you to get used to after changing your first job? Is it normal to be stupid on things that are simple in logic, simply because the project data gives you little idea about the operation of the algorithm, because both the area is new and the base is not quite obvious? How long did it take you to get used to projects and business processes?

Yes, it's long, yes it's normal. from a few weeks to a month or two, ideally you need a mentor or other "guide" who knows the business. Don't worry, everything is going well.

Getting used to and the general nature of the work 2-4 weeks, depending on the complexity of the project. It's always been that way. The rest is deep diving.

The first month is always hard. Even being stupid is normal, all because of the large amount of information. And if there is no normal training, preparation and gradual immersion, then it is even harder. Those. everything is fine, get used to it.

It depends purely on the project documentation and the formalization of the process of injecting new developers, we now have just a lot of new ones, there is a guide on how we work for beginners, where the workflow is described in detail, there is a Wiki where many nuances are described in great detail, there are code standards so that it can be it was easy to read and understand, well, there is a slack chat where beginners ask something incomprehensible and usually this incomprehensible turns into a guide every iteration, join in a few days, judging by the chat and work, if not at full strength, then at half strength almost immediately

On average, my full immersion in the processes took from 2 to 4 months. I believe, but I pretend to be the truth, that not a single employee will begin to give out his standard result in less than a month, due to the characteristics of the environment, communications, involvement in tasks and the team itself.
